Based on "The Kiss" by Auguste Rodin.

The waiting, the anticipation, the curiosity to something that has already happened or it is going to happen.

The continuous repel, approach, and still get away like poles with a same face.

The synergy of two bodies that seek to touch and merge, the eroticism, alive and intense, generated by the expectation, the anticipation of a kiss still not given or maybe the flavor of one just concluded.

Words and gestures are just a prelude to what fate has already written. A suspended kiss is a moment of captured time.

The choreography is selected for the Festival/Showcase SGUARDI 2015 and in 2016 for the Festival 99Arts in Rome

The choreography was created by the reading and analysis of the poem "Der Abend" by Rainer Maria Rilke.

The sunset and the arrival of the darkness bring the slowdown of all the activities of the people until the stillness and silence. It creates a binomial: the slow nightfall is both fear of the cold that this brings, but also the acceptance of his arrival as an old friend who is always with the people.

The work with the dancers has been focused to create this situation, where the evening leads to dynamism of the body that create changes of speed in the action. 

It is the evening to move the dancers, but in turn they will represent the evening.

They, in fact, tell the two protagonists of the poem, the evening and the people.

The choreography is among the ten selected to participate in the choreographic competition CortoinDanza 2014 in Cagliari.

Dance Impro Montemor - Portugal is a video that was shot inside the convent of sadauçao Montemor o Novo.

Together with a group of colleagues we have been inspired by the awesomeness of the place, using the same convent as a creative space.

The video is a compilation of some parts of our improvisations.
